Our values are inspired by our founding story, which dates back over 15 years. Our Founder and CEO, Eugene Kang, discovered Country Archer jerky at a roadside stand on the way to the Grand Canyon. He and his co-founder, Susan Kang, stopped in for a quick snack and discovered a revolutionary product.

They both felt that the jerky was way ahead of its time. It was this better-for-you, grass fed, all-natural, preservative-free, small-batch product, which stood in direct contrast to the products that littered store shelves: chemically induced, preservative-laced beef jerky.

Kang knew he had discovered something special with this product and in 2011 made an offer to purchase the company. Fast forward to today, and Country Archer operates out of a 30,000-square-foot complex that contains both a processing facility and a warehouse. Its products can be found in over 25,000 retailers nationwide, and it continues to grow that number year over year. In fact, Country Archer is the #1 Better for You jerky brand in the United States!
