Country Archer is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Planner and Buyer to join our team. The main responsibility will be to order Ingredients in accordance with our company’s needs and be cross-functionally trained on all raw materials.

As the Procurement Planner and Buyer, you will help ensure raw materials/ingredients are on time and coordinated with the supply chain team. This will involve analyzing MRP tools, commodity management, strategic purchase agreements, supplier management, scouting for new suppliers, tracking deliveries, and maintaining accurate records, including deliveries across multiple warehouses and manufacturing facilities. Familiarity with supply chain procedures and the ability to create and interpret cost analyses are important for this role. Your goal will be to make cost-effective purchases while ensuring our inventory levels remain well-stocked.
If you have an eye for detail and a strong understanding of procurement processes, we would like to meet you. Your duties will include:
• Strategize with the Planning Department on replenishment timing to support production
• Purchasing reviews by commodity and by vendor
• Creation of POs and tracking on-time deliveries with first-time quality
• Learn and understand global pricing drivers for areas of responsibility
• Maintaining vendor relationships and scouting for new vendors
• Prepares reports, spreadsheets, and other related documentation
• Monitoring stock levels and identifying purchasing needs
• Update Net Suite with order details
• Handles special projects research for the R&D
• Work cross-functionally between all departments throughout the company
What will make you successful in this role:
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and changing priorities while ensuring deadlines are met.
• 3 to 5 years of purchasing and procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Intermediate PC skills (Word, Outlook)
• Advanced in Excel with the ability to manage data with advanced formulas and functions
• Ability to be nimble and problem-solve with an entrepreneurial attitude
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Communicate clearly, concisely, timely, and professionally within our team and with external vendors.
Salary Range: $70,000 to $100,000
