Lead the Warehouse Team to safely and properly perform all tasks involved in the warehousing, production planning/ execution, material movement, and inventory of Country Archer’s products and input materials. Support our production department as needed to ensure a timely and accurate supply of input materials in quantities required to execute the production plan. Ensure the Staging Process for production of raw materials is being properly executed. Guide and support execution of sample orders, inbound PO receipts, transfers in / out, Return Authorizations (RMA’s or returned product), or all other transactions involving the movement or usage of inventoried materials. Ensures that all transactions / movements are executed in ERP system in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure an adequate supply of non-inventoried materials managed by the Warehouse Team. Role may include safely and effectively operating forklifts. Must follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure safety of self and other employees. Must comply with regulations set forth by Country Archer and USDA, as well as other relevant regulatory bodies. Assist in leading Warehouse Team to meet and track KPI thresholds critical to the operation. Will need to be able to lift, push, and pull items between 15 and 50 pounds. Position requires standing for long periods of time, walking, bending, squatting, sitting, and twisting frequently.

Shift Schedule:

12:00 pm to 8:30 pm (Monday through Friday)

Saturday work and overtime availability required as needed.


Primary Duties:

  1. Receive all incoming materials in accordance with rules and regulations governing food safety (i.e. filling out receiving log).
  2. Maintain accurate inventory of all raw material and finished goods
  3. Maintain accurate paperwork/systems to ensure accurate shipments
  4. Ensure materials are in proper bin locations
  5. Maintain proper FEFO per written SOPs
  6. Determine optimal staffing levels and proactively alert management of need for new hires
  7. Provide constructive guidance and feedback to staff
  8. Serve as an example to other workers for proper behavior and work ethic
  9. Check daily paperwork related to lot traceability and production reporting
  10. Maintain a safe workplace in compliance with OSHA regulations
  11. Act as back up to Warehouse Worker as needed
  12. Assists Warehouse Supervisor with development, implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures; ensures all established policies and procedures are followed by Warehouse Team
  13. Assists in supervising all shipping, receiving, and packing room activities performed by the warehouse team maintains a high degree of visibility and access to employees on warehouse floor throughout the shift.
  14. Leads by example and trains, motivates, coaches, rewards, and disciplines crew being supervised
  15. Facilitates accurate inventory control process.
  16. Assists in resolving warehouse-related issues with representatives from other departments throughout the company.
  17. Coordinates with the Warehouse Supervisor to manage personnel issues and requests.
  18. Leads crew by example by loading trucks and/or performing other duties, as necessary.
  19. Perform administrative tasks, as necessary.
  20. Maintains a working knowledge of all warehouse operations.
  21. Facilitates further development of safety programs and all required safety training for the crew.
  22. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ warehouse supervisor/lead experience
  • Experience effectively utilizing ERP, Excel, Teams, and other administrative software
  • Forklift certification
  • Preferably bilingual English/Spanish

Starting Salary: $24.00 to $26.00
