The Logistic Coordinator plans, coordinates, and analyzes the transportation of our products throughout the distribution network. Collaborates with multiple Supply Chain departments to ensure proper Transportation management and works closely with transportation partners to protect the movement of products while maximizing efficiencies and delivering best in class service to internal and external customers. Supports network optimization with cost and service analysis and works with the Logistics Supervisor to support long-term network planning to meet future growth.

Job Duties:

  • Coordinates Transportation Operations (Inbounds, Outbounds, Transfers, etc.) with Customer Service, Warehouses, Co-Manufacturers, Suppliers, and Carriers/Brokers
  • Execute day to day plans including load tenders, creating shipping documentation, and exception management
  • Works cross-functionally within the Supply Chain departments to maintain service levels, streamline operations and processes as needed Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency;
  • Acts as the main point of contact for daily Transportation Coordination within the Supply Chain
  • File and track carrier claims
  • Collaborates with Logistics Supervisor to measure carrier Key Performance Indicators and contributes to the carriers’ Quarterly Business Reviews

Must Have

  • Minimum 2 years Logistics or customer service experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Pay range:

$23.00 to $26.00
